These characters are easily identifiable and much loved by kids everywhere and make natural characters for extending the theme. Whether you make your own invitation cards or buy some from the store, they will need to include certain details. These details should include the occasion of the party, the date, and time, and what if any instructions you wish to provide about gift giving. You will also want to provide RSVP information. Whatever choice you make for the card itself, the invitations should let kids know through what the party will be like and should start to get them excited about attending. And you want to think about how to decorate the space where the party will be held. Snow White balloons and streamers can be purchased at the store, but you might also want to make cardboard cut outs of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to place around the room. Also, think about having the kids watch the animated movie “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” This movie is a classic and kids will love watching it with their friends. After the movie, you can get the kids together and have them share who their favorite dwarf is and why. Also at the party, think about how to integrate the theme in to all the various parts of a typical party. Some of the things to think about are plates, cups, silverware, table cloths. All of these items can be purchased with Snow White related themes on them. Work in the other Snow White characters as well; while Snow White is often the focus of attention, the rest of the characters in the story round out her world, and can be used to round out the party scene as well. Cakes can always be made to represent the theme as well. Your local cake maker can give you ideas, but Snow White cakes can be made for the party. There are Snow White cake molds available on the market if you want to make your own. Alternatively, you can have a cake made that shows a one of the scenes from the story. When it comes to the food, you can think about having miniature versions of kids favorites, to connect to the dwarfs in the story. So, mini hot dogs, mini burgers, mini cookies and so. Make them as if they were made for dwarfs. For drinks, you can think about using colored juices to simulate potions. Snow White is amongst the most beloved characters in history, so it makes sense that kids will want to be surrounded by her during their most important party events.
