Alice started off on her adventures in the story in response to being bored. So the game has the kids sit in a circle. They then go around and say, “My name is____. I’M BORED! So, I’m going to (fill in the blank with a big adventure). Drinks can come in bottles with the words DRINK ME on them, as a reference to the story. Cakes can always be made to represent the theme as well. Your local cake maker can give you ideas, but cakes can be made for the party. Think about a having a cake made that mimics the scenes in Alice and has the words EAT ME on it, in reference to the story. After the cake portion, think about hanging an Alice piñata, blindfolding the kids and having them go down a “rabbit hole” before being handing the stick for the piñata. Many various party favors are widely available with the Alice theme, including watches, key chains and t-shirts. This is just a short list. There is a wide variety of other options as well that are suitable for most any occasion. And just because the party ends at a given time, doesn’t mean all the fun ends with it. After the party, it’s time to focus on sending out thank you cards, as this is a very important part of the whole event. You can buy thank you cards as part of a kit, or as separate items.
